WWDC09 is over. It has been fun and educational, and I’ve met some new friends and co-developers.
The total gain is around 16 sessions, 3 labs and 1,501 pictures (and counting, most of which not of WWDC due to the NDA), several T-shirts (some free) and souvenirs, not to mention a fair amount of sightseeing and exploration, including a trip to Silicon Valley, where we (some of my fellow students and myself) were at Apple and Google headquarters (pictures on Flickr).
I’m now sitting in my hotel room at the Prescott four star hotel near Union Square on my final night in San Francisco. I’m leaving tomorrow on my flight scheduled for departure at 7.09 pm for Frankfurt. I’ll be staying in Frankfurt (airport) for an hour and a half before departing for Copenhagen.
What awaits me there will be an exam due friday. I don’t want to leave San Francisco just yet, but home is calling for me. The trip has definitely been worth it, and I’d really like to thank Apple for the student scholarship. Maybe I’ll also apply next year – who knows.
